The BEST of Market award is based on the results of an online survey of products and concepts submitted by industry partners in the out-of-home market. In the first part, the anonymous participants were assigned to the subsectors gastronomy, hotel/hotel catering and community catering as responsible persons and to the respective specialist journals as recipients. They were also asked about criteria that influence their investment behaviour. In the main part, the submitted products and concepts were evaluated.

821 managers participated in the BEST of Market Online evaluation, which was conducted at the beginning of 2024. In the BEST of Market, the readers - that is, the gastronomic practitioners - evaluate established products and concepts based on their experiences in the market.
