For EDNA International GmbH the protection of your private data is a serious matter. Personal data are collated, processed and used by EDNA International GmbH exclusively within the legally approved framework. Our website (http://www.edna-international.com) contains links to the websites of other companies: this data privacy declaration does not extend to any such sites.

1. Collection and processing of personal data
We collate and process the following data:
a. Inventory data: Insofar as between you and our company a contractual relationship has been entered into, designed in content or amended accordingly, we collect and use the personal data required for this in the form of standard contact data such as name, address for invoice and address for delivery, telephone and/or fax number, method of payment, bank account details etc.
b. Usage data: In addition on this website data will be collected and saved under the framework of taking up our Internet offer. Usage data include for example identification characteristics (such as login-data) and information at the beginning and end together with the scope of usage of our offer; further, the IP address, browser used including plug-ins used, screen resolution, click path, entry/exit page used to visit or exit from our website, the ID in the cookie of the browser are all saved. Cookies may be used. Cookies are small text files which are saved locally in the cache of the Internet browser of the visitor. Cookies enable recognition of the Internet browsers or PC.
c. Invoicing data: We also collate person-related data necessary for the processing of an order and delivery for example in respect of the products ordered, prices, date and time and the status of the order.
Further person-related data are then only recorded when these are given under the framework for example of an enquiry, a registration or execution of contract and whereby the collection and use of such data is permissible in law.

2. Limitation of use: Purposes for which we use person-related data
EDNA International GmbH uses your data for the following purposes only:

  • technical administration for demand-oriented provision and optimization of the website,
  • customer administration,
  • drawing up of contracts and
  • marketing (especially the sending out of advertising by letter or e-mail)

and only to the respectively necessary scope. From the usage data (see above 1.b.), user profiles are compiled under pseudonyms. The usage data are not used without the specific consent of the party involved in order to identify the user of this website in person and are not related by personal data about the person behind the pseudonym. The compilation of a user profile can be vetoed at any time with effect for the future.

3. Passing on of personal data
EDNA International GmbH shall not pass on person-related data of the user to a third party, unless the website user has previously expressly declared his consent or there is a legal obligation for the forwarding of data. Personal data shall be transferred to state bodies or government authorities only when this is required by law. You are entitled to refuse the forwarding of your data.

4. Right of revocation

EDNA International GmbH deploys technical and organizational security measures in order to protect our data management system from incidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction and against access by unauthorized persons. Our safety precautions are constantly improved and updated in accordance with the state of technology. Our employees are subject to confidentiality obligations. Insofar as third parties have access to these data, for example, for servicing or maintenance work, these persons are also under the obligation of confidentiality.

6. Entitlement to information, or to the correction, deletion or blocking of data
On request we provide written information on whether and if so, which personal data we have recorded under your name. If despite all our efforts, the recorded data is not correct or not up to date, we shall rectify this if asked to do so.
